Print your patterns at home

How to print

My patterns come in 17.78 x 25.4 cm (7 x 10-inch) rectangles, which can be printed onto either A4 or US Letter size paper

IMPORTANT!

Ensure your print settings are correct. The pattern must be printed at actual size (100% scaling) or it will not fit properly! Print windows differ depending on your printer and operating system, but you’re looking for options similar to this:

Page Size and Handling > Custom Scale > 100% (also might say Actual Size, or Set Scaling to 100%, or Turn Off Scaling).

Also, if your printer offers the option, set the Orientation to Auto/Portrait Landscape to keep your pattern tile centered.

How to use PDF patterns

Once you’ve printed out the patterns, each page will contain a frame near the edges and diagonal lines at the corners. Cut or fold through these lines and then tape the papers together in numerical order as shown in the tiles diagram.

How do I know my size?

These patterns are graded and sized the old-fashioned way and they run from size 42 to 58. To see what size you are, just measure your upper bust. Do this by measuring all around the body and passing below the arm holes. Then divide this measurement in half (giving you something in the neighborhood of 42 cm (16.5 inches)). This number is your size. Find your number on my size chart in order to see which of my standard sizes is the best fit for you.

The pattern contains lines for all the standard sizes. I recommend trying the pattern on over the skin before cutting, and if necessary you can lengthen or shorten it as you like. Tracing the pattern onto semi-transparent paper will make it easier to try it on over your skin.

***The pattern does not have a seam allowance. It’s the exact size that the garment will be.
